Matt Bekebrede blends nearly 20 years of hospitality entrepreneurship with a love for teaching. An Instructor in Hospitality Leadership at Missouri State University since 2020, he draws on his experience owning and operating a wine shop & lounge since 2007. Pursuing a doctoral degree, Matt is expanding his expertise in applied research with interests in student engagement, hospitality trends, private clubs, events, and wine. He thrives on challenges and lifelong learning. Outside of work, you’ll find him cooking, with family, at the lake, or enjoying a great game.
