James Baldwin, known as 'Jimbo', has a rich and diverse background in the winter sports industry. A retried public school PE teacher, coach and referee of twenty six years, Jimbo's experience is both participatory and observational in multiple perspectives of how people recreate and play. His four decades in the ski area business spans several guest-facing and operational positions. Jimbo's research interests include guest-risk- taking psychology, Serious leisure winter tourism, and winter-sport sustainability. Jimbo works at Taos Ski Valley as a ski instructor and resides in Taos, NM with his partner Adi, three dogs and a cat.
