Research Financial Services
Research Financial Services (RFS) in the Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) assists in helping the University fulfill its research, instruction, and public service missions. RFS assists faculty with sponsored program billing, financial reporting, research transaction approvals, and closeout.
Billing and Reporting
- Completes billing setups for external sponsored program billing
- Issues invoices to sponsors
- Prepares financial reporting per terms and conditions of awards
- Communicates billing requirements to faculty
Research Transactions
- Reviews and approves journals, vouchers, and eRAFs
- Oversees and completes closeouts of awards
- Monitors accounts receivable and manages payment application
- Assists in internal and external audits
