Live-In Nanny / Household Assistant (Perfect for Aspiring Teacher)
We’re seeking a responsible, nurturing UH student—especially someone studying education—who’d love hands-on experience with children in a warm family setting. Hours average around 20 per week, with flexibility to accommodate your school schedule; heavier help is typically needed on weekends. You’ll assist with our two young girls (and a new baby arriving in April), light household tasks, and occasional errands. Our family lives in a safe, gated community in Tanglewood and offers a private third floor with your own bedroom and bathroom, all meals, utilities, and Wi-Fi included, plus a weekly stipend. Mom is a former teacher turned attorney, and Dad is a physician. Start date is flexible within the next few months, and we’d ideally love someone who can commit for at least a year, with potential to stay longer if it’s a good fit.

Afternoon Homework Helper / Tutor
We’re looking for a caring, engaging tutor/mentor to work with our 7th-grade daughter 5 afternoons a week (2–4 hrs each day). She’s bright, creative, and hard-working, and she thrives with support in math, writing, organization, and study skills. Because she has dyslexia and dysgraphia, patience, positive reinforcement, and step-by-step guidance are key. The ideal fit is someone who loves middle-schoolers, is strong in math/writing, tech-savvy, dependable, and enjoys making learning fun. Occasional learning outings (like a museum trip) may be included. We’re hoping to find someone joyful, nurturing, and organized who can be a steady, positive presence in her afternoons. Would like someone who is available to start ASAP. Location: Central Houston near the galleria/highland village.

Hours are flexible; the position begins part-time but could grow into full-time. Basic computer skills are helpful, and we’d love someone who is trustworthy, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced household.
These are paid part time positions.
