Micro-credential in the Digital Humanities
Faculty, Librarian, Researcher, and Doctoral Student Track
The Micro-credential in Digital Humanities (DH) program teaches successful strategies to the planning, implementation, and development of DH research projects and funding proposals.
This program encompasses three scaffolded badges:
- Badge I: Foundations of DH Project Development
- Badge II: Intermediate DH Project Development (prerequisite: Badge I or equivalent experience)
- Badge III: Advanced DH Project Development (prerequisites: Badges I, II)
Program participants are expected to produce a proposal for a UH Internal Award or an equivalent planning, proof of concept, or prototype grant to develop and execute their research project. Participant eligibility for the Micro-credential in the Digital Humanities Program, therefore, aligns with the eligibility criteria for the Small Grant Award and New Faculty Award, as well as external award programs (e.g., NEH Digital Advancement Grant).
