Your Network for a Strong Start and Lasting Friendships

Cougar DENS is your opportunity to build connections and community at the University of Houston. This program helps incoming students like you create a strong support network, get questions answered, and transition successfully into university life.

Support That Makes a Difference

Connect with someone who’s been there. As current students, Peer Assistant Leaders (PALs) have successfully navigated their own pathways at UH and are ready to help you create yours. They’ll reach out at the beginning of the year and follow up during key moments, providing personalized support throughout your first year.
