Gated Lot 6A Closing for Two Months

Gated Lot 6A will be temporarily closed for approximately two months to accommodate lighting upgrades as part of the University’s campus-wide improvement project. The closure will start at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15. All vehicles will have to be removed from the lot by that time. Gated Lot 6A permit holders have been emailed instructions on where their permit allows them to park while 6A is closed. Any 6A permit holder who did not see the emails should contact Parking and Transportation Services at parking@uh.edu.

Campus Loop Road Closed for Improvements

The section of the Campus Loop Road from Cullen Boulevard to Entrance 18 is closed until December 2025 as work is done to improve that stretch of roadway. More information is posted on the Facilities/Construction Management website.

University Drive Closed for Centennial Project Work

Vehicle access is blocked off for University Drive from MLK Boulevard to the E. Cullen Building and is expected to last through 2026.
