Campus Parking on Game Day

 

Check this page regularly to help you adjust your plans and make game days run as smoothly as possible. If you are a Cougar football fan who is looking for information on where to park on game day, please consult the football fan guide and the game day parking map. Football fans wanting to buy game day parking in advance can do so here.

2026 Home Schedule
Sept. 5 (Saturday), 11 a.m., vs. Oregon State
Sept. 12 (Saturday), 6 p.m., vs. Southern
Oct. 3 (Saturday), TBA, vs. UCF
Oct. 17 (Saturday), TBA, vs. Oklahoma State
Nov. 7 (Saturday), TBA, vs. Cincinnati
Nov. 28 (Saturday), TBA, vs. Baylor

The first Cougar football home game of the season takes place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5. UH students, faculty and staff with parking permits will be impacted as follows:

Vehicles Must Be Moved Out of Zone F

• All vehicles parked in Zone F lots 12A and 15C on Friday must be moved out by 11:59 p.m. that day.
• Vehicles left in these lots after midnight will be ticketed and towed to the Elgin Street Garage.
• Valid UH parking permit holders will not be allowed to park in Zone F on Saturday.

Zone A

• Lot 16D in Zone A will be blocked off to permit holders on Saturday.
• All other Zone A lots will be used for text-to-pay game day parking. Valid UH parking permit holders can park in them on Saturday without having to pay any fee.

Zone B

• Zone B will be blocked off to permit holders on Saturday.

Zones C & D

• Lots in Zones C and D will be used for game-day text-to-pay parking on Saturday. Valid UH parking permit holders may park in these lots without paying any fee.

ZONE E

• Zone E will be blocked off to all permit holders except for Zone E permits on Saturday.

Stadium Garage

• Stadium Garage permit holders -- including Stadium Premium -- will not be allowed entry into the Stadium Garage on Saturday.

Elgin Street Garage

• The Elgin Street Garage will convert to game day paid parking at approximately 7 a.m. Saturday.
• Permit holders for this garage will still be allowed to enter once the conversion takes place, but they must enter through the one student/faculty/staff gate that will be clearly marked with permit holder entry only signage.

All Other Parking Garages

• The East Garage, University Gateway Garage, and the two Welcome Center Garages will not be used for game day parking. Permit holders for these garages may continue to park in them as usual.
