The WGRC Student Ambassador Program - University of Houston
Skip to main content
The CORE Peer Mentorship Program empowers students to take the lead in preventing relationship and sexual violence at the University of Houston. As CORE Peer Mentors, students engage their peers in conversations about consent, healthy relationships, and bystander intervention while helping to create a safer, more informed campus community.

Each semester, a select group of students serve as CORE Peer Mentors by:
  • Facilitating workshops and awareness campaigns
  • Collaborating on WGRC programs and events
  • Creating engaging social media and marketing materials
  • Serving as peer educators and advocates
Interested in Becoming a CORE Peer Mentor?
We’ll soon begin recruiting students for Fall 2025! While we prepare for our upcoming CORE Info Session, you can go ahead and fill out our CORE Interest Form to stay in the loop.
