Nominated by Germaine Washington, Director of Marketing and Communications in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, Gabriel was recognized for going above and beyond his regular duties to create meaningful experiences that foster student engagement, empowerment, and pride.

One of Gabriel’s most impactful contributions has been his enthusiastic leadership in organizing Cougar Red Friday Pop-Up events. Using departmental resources and driven by his own initiative, he successfully hosted two standout events—including a popular Ice Cream Social—that created joyful opportunities for students to connect, relax, and engage with their campus community.

Additionally, Gabriel volunteered to host The Final Act, an end-of-semester Cougar Red Friday celebration in partnership with the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Launch. The event drew more than 425 students and served as a dynamic platform for promoting better study habits, stress relief, and academic celebration.
