Designed to cultivate a strengths-based mindset across students, faculty, and staff, the initiative marks UH’s commitment to elevating well-being, engagement, and performance university-wide.

  • Cougar Red Fridays: Sparking Spirit, Building Tradition

    Every Friday, the University of Houston shines a little brighter. Cougar Red Fridays (CRF), a beloved campus tradition, invite students, faculty, and staff to wear red and proudly show their Cougar Pride. More than a weekly wardrobe choice, this initiative strengthens our collective identity and celebrates the vibrant spirit that makes UH unique.

  • Student Engagement Yields Results: Data Shows Strong Link Between Involvement and Success

    In Fall 2023, the Division of Student Affairs launched a pilot initiative to track student participation in non-confidential programs and services across the university. This effort, led by Dr. Scott Radimer, was designed to assess how engagement with the division correlates with academic success and student retention.

    Some of you may have noticed this new little tag line and graphic starting to be utilized around many of our Health and Wellbeing programs and services. You may have even noticed it being picked up by our colleagues in Human Resources in some of their recent messaging. It’s a straightforward concept: Be Well to Do Well. UH at Sugar Land

UH at Sugar Land is a location of the University of Houston and home to many UH programs. The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) provides support services and events throughout the academic year. UH at Katy

The University of Houston at Katy brings Tier One higher education to a growing region rich in ambition, drive and vision. The 80,000-sq.-ft-facility features state-of-the-art labs and studios for students pursuing studies with the UH College of Nursing and the UH Cullen College of Engineering.
